Our daughter Poppy was diagnosed with PANDAS 4 years ago (aged 8 years).
At this point she was unable to attend school, had chronic physical and vocal tics / severe anxiety/ OCD/ intrusive thoughts / irrational fears / was unable to retain information in school / could not sleep alone or go upstairs on her own, she also had other debilitating symptoms.
She was treated by a private consultant with an intense course of antibiotics, and we initially saw a vast improvement, and a reduction in symptoms. However, Poppy’s OCD and anxieties still remained, and her other symptoms would return whenever she became unwell.
At best the symptoms were ‘manageable’, but the intrusive thoughts were still a daily struggle.
We were recommended by a few people to contact Stella Chadwick at Brainstorm Health. After a short conversation with Stella, we were delighted to hear that she was able to help us.
Stella’s knowledge of PANDAS is incredible, she was extremely thorough, investigating Poppy’s full history, leaving no stone unturned. We instantly knew that we were in safe hands. Her wonderful caring manner made us feel reassured and well looked-after at every stage.
Poppy was initially put on a detailed course of natural supplements, as a detoxification programme. We were given a detailed written report that was easy to follow.
Poppy also changed her diet to gluten/sugar/dairy free. We started using chemical-free products within the home.
The changes have been dramatic, and within a few days we started to see vast improvements, and thankfully a reduction in OCD / intrusive thoughts.
Poppy had several tests carried out, including bloods and DNA testing, which has given us a detailed analysis of Poppy’s body, and gave invaluable information to help us going forwards with Poppy’s continued recovery.
Poppy has been transformed back into a happy 12 year old, and she is thankfully leading a normal life again.
We cannot put into words how grateful we are to have Stella, she has literally brought our daughter back, in just a few months.
The last 4 years have been a difficult struggle, but we can now say that the sunshine has been brought back into our lives.
Bless you Stella.
Alex is 14 years old and has always been in good health until November 2020 when suddenly what felt like overnight he started with tics and changes in his energy levels and mood.
Over the following months, Alex developed joint pains, stomach pains, tic attacks, eye problems, rashes.
We had many A&E trips, Doctors referrals, tests and scans over a six month period but we just couldn’t get any answers.
The impact this had on him and us as a family was devastating, we just felt out of control and unsure what we could do to help him.
I’ll never forget Alex s comment of “ I just want to be the boy I was before mum”.
I was constantly reading and looking at what we could do to help him and I came across Functional Medicine, something I had no knowledge on but Stella’s name and Brainstorm Health kept coming up and the more I read I was keen to look at what this could mean for Alex. My first conversation with Stella was a turning point, I just knew she got it !! She understood and cared about what was happening to Alex and when so many doors had been closed I felt hopeful we could start to help him.
We started with the process in June 21 and uncovered through the testing things that were out of balance and also that he had a significant parasitic infection.
With Stella’s knowledge and guidance, we have implemented a new diet, various supplements to support Alex’s detoxification and he is currently going through a parasitic cleanse.
Six months in the improvements we are seeing are fantastic, he now has only a few tics, he is back doing sports and he is a much happier child.
I won’t lie it does require determination and trust in the process, there are times when you are unsure if a new supplement is helping or not but we have learned to keep going as the results do follow. Whenever I’ve been concerned I have emailed Stella just to check if we should continue or adjust and she has guided us correctly.
We still have more to do and I can only hope that will mean Alex health continues to improve.
Month by month Izzy has been healing (we have had some bumps in the road as you know, to be expected). Well it has recently dawned on me just how far she has come on for a few reasons. Firstly, she had her mock GCSE results back and she has smashed them and exceeded far more than school, me or herself expected. She has agreed to a tutor 3 times a week as she wants to learn again and is mentally and emotionally ready to do so. 6 months ago I’d never have thought she would agree to, or cope with, a 1:1 tutor situation. She has all her spark back, she is happy and relaxed, she looks incredibly healthy – eyes, skin etc, she has energy and motivation and enthusiasm for activities and life again.
I have her EHCP review on Monday with school and I am going through it making changes ready for her leaving school and to go to college (she is so ready for mainstream college!). This EHCP was only written by me and the senco from her mainstream school about 14 months ago. Half of it doesn’t even apply anymore! About 3 staff lately have raved about how far she has come on and how wonderful she is.
And my word this is the biggest thing – she came home from school on Wednesday and said she had been thinking and she may die her hair back to a ‘normal’ colour again (it is shocking pink currently). She has also recently totally changed her clothes – she was very rock/goth. She said that she doesn’t need to hide behind all that anymore to cover up who she was because now she “feels fully happy and fully well” and when I chatted to her more about it she said she “doesn’t really feel autistic anymore”. She went on to say that might be because the people in her class are more autistic than her (which could be a factor) – but even that is so insightful and self aware.
I just could not wait until Izzy’s follow up in March to tell you this.
I know how busy you are and it must be so stressful but I wanted you to know the hard work you put in to helping kids struggling (and their parents!) is so worth it and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it – I can not put it into words – and I know Izzy does too. I wish you could hear her articulate how she used to feel and how she can now process all that and compare it to how she feels now. She has applied to 2 colleges to do a BTEC in Health & Social Care and she wants to work with teens with mental health difficulties. She has her life back.

My 10 year old son diagnosed with PANDAS at 6 years old started MIT 20 days ago. We have seen some huge jumps in academic ability including the ability to understand phonics, blend words and become an early reader ( we’d spent 1.5years trying to teach this). He’s also improved his gross motor skills and can now cross his midline and use a scooter ( unable to make isolated forward motions with either leg previously ). He’s started to eat foods he’s never tried before. He’s become more social- he wants to shop unaided and communicate with the shop staff perfectly. His anxiety was a 10 ( scale 1-10) he was unable to leave my side and experienced frequent bedwetting he’s now at a 4. He will play in his own room and isn’t distraught upon waking up alone. So far we’ve seen great things.
After just a few weeks of being on Coriander’s programme, my little boy’s tummy issues were almost gone, which amazingly went on to promote improved speech, better sleep, better mood and a happier boy. I’m so grateful to Coriander and her team for sharing their very impressive and insightful knowledge and for making such a specific plan for my little boy. I feel excited to continue working with Brainstorm health to get onto the next phase of my little boy’s healing process. I have no doubt that this is the most powerful investment you could make for your little one who is facing any difficulties.
We have been working with Brainstorm Health for almost a year. During this period, our son (Doby, 5 years old) learned to look us in the eyes and answer to his name. His understanding has significantly improved (this is what his teachers also says), the tantrums have decreased and he sleeps peacefully all night – he wakes up just once for the toilet. What impressed me the most was the last half term, because we were together all the time – I noticed how calmer Doby became – we were in the park for a walk and I was able to talk with my friends not like usually – just running with him. We coloured together, he even learned to draw smiling faces or make them from play dough. That’s a huge change for our family and we will be always thankful to Brainstorm Health. We move on and hope to one day have a real conversation with our son ❤

I just wanted to update you on Poppy’s progress.
She started the Adrenal cortex on 28/2 on half dose for two days, then full dose from day 3, with no side effects at all so far.
Poppy’s OCD has been the biggest improvement so far, which is such wonderful news as this has been the worst symptom.
The circulation in her fingers has also improved greatly.
She is not constantly in fight/flight mode, and has allowed me to go out without the need to track my every move!
The other good news is she hasn’t needed any melatonin to get to sleep.
Poppy has had a couple of CBT sessions which have been a great help for her mindset.
We took her to have her bloods last week, and are going to do the DNA this week.
We have also changed all cleaning/washing products plus toothpaste. Also being strict with the gluten/dairy/sugar-free diet.
We want to thank you from deep in our hearts for your amazing advice and health plan. To see Poppy making such great gains is beyond words. We are so grateful to you Stella.
Yesterday, Izzy had an interview for a BTEC Level 3 course in Health & Social Care at the College she really wants to go to in Sept. It is a small-ish mainstream college known for it’s excellent additional support.
This is what she said:
– she was a little nervous in the car on the way but when in there she felt fine and confident (I did not go in with her she did it all independently)
– she was able to maintain eye contact and it felt fine
– she answered all their questions in full sentences with details and examples and used a normal volume voice (a girl that was consumed with anxiety and selective mute for 18 months not that long ago!)
AND…….. they were so impressed with her (I’d send an email in advance explaining the awful issues she has faced the past few years), that they offered her a place there and then!
ALSO, since the last set of supplements, the visual snow has more or less gone! She said yesterday on the way to the interview “I feel fully me again now”.
Stella, if we were closer I’d give you the biggest hug. Words or actions will never fully express my gratitude to you. You have given me my daughter back and her life and future back.
I just wanted to start with a massive thank you to Kirsty and without her help I can’t even imagen where we would be with Frankie. Not just with his autism but with his overall health and well being.
Before working with Kirsty, Frankie was placed on the autism spectrum but my main worries was that he refused almost all food, he wouldn’t eat he would only accept and demand milk in his bottle, he couldn’t sleep (most night, two -three hours were a good night) and always constipated, he was so thin and unwell looking. After many visits to healthcare, doctors and paediatricians I was dismissed of my worries and concerns everytime. He had always been slightly delayed in speech and a few other things but it was coming slowly and then just after his 3rd birthday Frankie regressed in everything at a very fast rate, he soon didn’t even notice us in the room, he literally shut himself off from anything or anyone around him. He became very repetitive and all the things he seemed to like now seemed to be a sensory overload for him, so much so that he had started to hit himself in the head and become overwhelmingly anxious, his ears would turn red raw after eating the one bit of food he may of tried. As soon as he was given his autism diagnosis I was told all of this was because he was autistic and this was a common thing in autism, everything was put down to sensory reasons etc.
I couldn’t just leave it there, I had to find a way to help him.
Literally a week after starting Kirsty’s protocol of removing dairy, soya, corn and gluten she had set for us and addressing his constipation and liver support, Frankie slept through the whole night, then followed by eating three meals a day, he would come find me for food. Within 8 weeks he had stopped hitting himself and then gradually the anxiety and worried look on his face subsided, he could cope with change and routine. Just those first 8 weeks were more than I could have hoped for for Frankie. To watch your son refuse food and to look so frail……to then see your son eat something/anything let alone every meal was the most amazing feeling.
His Food intolerance test results showed high intolerance to Dairy as well as a couple of other things, but dairy…..he lived off of milk for all that time, it makes me sad to think I didn’t even consider it.
It’s been a long time coming and although we still have a lot of work to do and although Frankie is still non verbal, his words are starting to come back, he is no longer overwhelmed and highly anxious, his understanding his coming, he’s growing and hopefully his eye contact will follow once we begin on the next phases.
None of this would have been done or even suggested by his general paediatrician.
I cannot recommend Kirsty enough and just wanted to say a huge Thank you to Kirsty, I couldn’t have done this without all of your help and knowledge.
And to Frankie…..you just amaze me ❤️
My daughter, R, had a severe mental, physical and emotional crisis, aged 11 years, in October 2020. It was as if we had lost her. She woke up regressed to about a 3 year level with extreme tics/ compulsions, anxiety/ fear and unable to separate from me. Her OCD and intrusive thoughts took up her every waking moment. I immediately suspected paediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) but our GP only referred to CAMHS and no-one did any blood tests. It took 3 months for us to get a paediatrician referral after which we found that her crisis was caused by an historic streptococcus infection that had caused an autoimmune response. She had Paediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcus (PANDAS), a subgroup of the PANS.
Thank goodness for Brainstorm Health! Well before the strep discovery we were already on the road to enabling R’s recovery. Through their testing, we found a lot of differences in R’s biochemistry and were able to get on with supporting her straight away. We started an anti-inflammatory and toxin reduction programme. We were amazed at how effective an exclusion diet was; taking out gluten, dairy, soya, glutamate and sugar really helped dampen the fire when her brain was so inflamed. This was all important as we needed to enable R to heal herself.
Urine and hair tests showed nutritional deficits that we were able give targeted supplements to correct, eg magnesium and B12, critical for normal brain function. We also found differences in her gut ecology, this became even more significant once we started her on long term antibiotics for her strep infection.
Leslie, from Brainstorm Health, was also very mindful of a wide range of ways that might help R’s progress beyond biochemical adjustments, including yoga, acupuncture, breathing techniques. She was incredibly supportive to me during this time of crisis.
R is doing extremely well. PANS/PANDAS generally takes a long time to fully heal, even with all the right treatment. I know that the Functional Medicine approach used by Brainstorm Health has made a big difference to R and her brain/ body’s ability to heal.
It can be a lonely/ isolating journey for families. Luckily, I have had Leslie and Brainstorm Health to support us all along the way.
From the very first conversation I had with Stella nearly 8 months ago, I knew she was someone that we could trust to help our 5 year old boy who has now had immune mediated neurological symptoms for over 12 months.
It wasn’t until our second or third meeting when I asked for her story that she volunteered the information that she re-trained to be an expert in this field years ago as her daughter also had a sudden onset of similar symptoms and she wanted to help her in the best way she could. That explains so much in terms of how Stella clearly has vast knowledge and understanding of how gut health can impact these children so negatively and positively, but she also explains things and works with you in such a way that you can tell it’s because she has ‘been there herself’. Her straight talking but empathetic manner and the pressure she places on herself to find the right journey for our boy has made us dig even deeper in the moments that have been the hardest.
Our confidence in her approach is such that we even managed the latest flare without medication because whilst we knew that it would help Louis in the short term, we were also aware given the diagnostics that Stella had ordered that this would result in further gut problems – a viscous cycle almost. It was hell at a lot of points but Stella responded to emails and the call for an urgent appointment and adjusted the interventions and added different ones in.
The first winter for our boy living with this condition happens also to be his first year at school. His immune system is taking a battering but since the 4 week flare in December he has only had two days absent this half term and many of his symptoms, whilst still there, are more manageable and less extreme for the most part.
I am grateful that people like Stella and the PANS/PANDAS UK support group are out there. Without the group my husband and I would not have found Stella, and the network along with her support and guidance definitely promotes a feeling of optimism for our son’s path moving forwards.

Up until our son was 30 months old he was like every other child. He achieved all his milestones, many of them smashing them. He was a delightful baby and toddler with no indicators to alert us to any concerns. Most parents think their children are amazing. I always thought our son was a bright little spark, sensitive, affectionate and lively. He ate well, slept well, and was a really contented little chap. He loved swimming and was still navigating his way through rugbytots. But from mid – February 2019, over a period of around 8 weeks, we observed slight and isolated changes. On reflection, when piecing all these slight changes together, we felt something was happening.
He started wanting to be more at home, crying when going to his weekly play group. Attending his much-loved weekly swimming class was now difficult, becoming unsettled in the pool. He started to become more and more withdrawn, and over a further two – week period, his speech reduced. The next two months our lives as we knew it would change. His eye contact stopped, he stopped responding to his name, and he became over – active, and we battled to get him to focus. End of May, through private diagnosis his ASD was confirmed; that at 30 months he started regressing and went off the development path.
I spent all free time researching Autism, and we started speech and language therapy almost immediately. Christmas 2019 was a defining moment; I read a book following a mother’s journey of fighting for her son. She wrote about the “the pillars to fighting Autism”
• Dietary intervention
• Biomedical supplements
• Assessing the digestive system for chronic infections
• Assessing dysfunction in the methylation cycle
From a scientific or biological perspective, it made sense, and I firmly believe that there must be biological differences to those with Autism, and that these differences must be able to be managed, to differing degrees. To date, we had only applied a behavioural approach to support. So, I started reading up on the biomedical approach and “gut health”, and the link between learning disabilities, the food and drink we take, and the condition of our digestive system. This is how we came to Stella Chadwick at Brainstorm Health, and from the 27th March 2020, we haven’t looked back. I am reminded of that wonderful quote: “I did then what I knew best; when I knew better, I did better.”
We followed Stella’s health plan with focus. It took about 4 – 8 weeks to be fully comfortable with it, and for it to become second nature. There is nothing we wouldn’t do for our son.
Stella is very personable and really listens. During her consultations, owing to the highly sensitive and physical information she has access to, it felt like she had the window into our son’s world, and we have trusted her. By asking questions, following the plan, being observant and giving Stella feedback, enabled us to see immense progress.
• We have seen the biggest change in Shamus’ focus and attention.
• He is no longer as hyper- active. We can negotiate and reason with him, and he listens.
• At school his teachers refer to his progress as being “astounding”.
• His speech and friendships with other children continue to develop.
• His diet was never a concern, but through Stella’s health plan, he eats an even more varied diet. I believe he has a more nutritious and balanced diet than most 4-year-olds’!
• Toilet training was a personal struggle. We spoke to Stella and she was very encouraging. We kept at it and he got it. And when he did, no accidents, and within three months no pull ups at night.
• Every few weeks we notice changes; during the last 6 months we have been able to sit and colour in together, play games to teach him phonics and learn simple maths concepts. This weekend we were helping him to paint flowers. He allows us to work on these activities for between 20 – 40 min at a time. We would never have been able to do this before.
His fine motor skills need more attention, and we are doing activities to assist him, and this is what we will talk to Stella about at our next appointment. We are so encouraged and proud of our little man, who is now learning how to ride his bicycle! We feel a greater peace with the journey we are on. Stella has given us hope and reinvigorated our belief that “what we put in, our son will become”.
Thank you Stella, and the Brainstorm Health team.
Stella is a fountain of knowledge, and I immediately felt we were in the right hands during my first consultation.
My daughter has had issues with her gut and eczema since the age of 2. I have tried other practitioners and methods along the way but never quite got to the bottom of what was going on.
5 years later, I was told through a work colleague, what my daughter may have may be categorised as PANS/PANDAS…..I had heard of this term before but had no knowledge of it. I looked at the symptoms, and yes, this was my daughter. I was told about Brainstorm Health and Stella was the lady to see, so I booked an appointment immediately.
We have done lots of lab testing, and we can see where the issues are. Within a month of the protocol, my daughter was eczema free, and 6 months down the line, her behaviour has seen a huge improvement to the point where I can no longer remember the girl she was, in a good way.
I am confident, after years of worry that Stella will get my daughter to optimum health. She is now 7 and I am finally in the right hands after years of searching for answers.
Stella knows her craft inside out, you won’t be in safer hands.
Our son has had a diagnosis of PANDAS now for 6 months. We appreciate this is a short time compared to most parents. We went down the traditional route of conventional medicine to have him placed on antibiotics which did help in the beginning but as we came to the end of each course the symptoms would start again which lead us to change and try more and more ABX. We were very concerned about his overall health being on long term ABX medication but at the time this was the only life line for us as a family. The last 6 months took us on a journey of reading and educating ourselves on all things PANDAS related. So as time passed we kept listening to other parents, the same message kept coming through – you need to look at his health as a whole, why did he get PANDAS in the first place? Treat the source and not just the symptoms. The same name kept appearing, Stella Chadwick. We had our first Skype app with Stella in December last year and she was amazing, she really understood, cared and knew all about PANDAS! We have only had our son on one intervention so far and it alone has radically reduced his TICS! He had next to no tics in 3 days of taking this remedy. It’s still early days but we are looking now to the future and no longer feel that constant worry, feeling of helpless against this horrible disorder. Our son is off all antibiotic medication and that is a great relief in itself for us. Thank you Stella, you and your team are truly amazing.
Thank you Stella for your professional, knowledgable and caring approach over the years . Without your wisdom and support my son who is non verbal and has a number of health issues would not be where he is today. I am truly grateful for the depth of your nutritional knowledge both from your personal and your professional experiences.
We are blessed 😊🙏🏽

Four years ago, a beautiful and healthy boy was born to us. He developed neurologically according to his age. He laughed, gesticulated, sat at 6 months, walked and said his first words before his first birthday, had an orderly appetite. big and worrying changes. It started to fade … Cheerful and energetic baby, becomes crying, sleepy, loses appetite, stops responding to the name, eye contact becomes weaker and interest in interaction and play, speech stops developing. anxiously we visit various doctors and get answers to be patient, observe and finally accept that our child has certain neurological abnormalities in development from the spectrum, and to dedicate ourselves to healthy children at home. By nature, we are great fighters and did not accept that nothing is done. We spent months wandering around looking for answers and therapy to help our child whose condition was getting worse. And my condition as of May It was getting worse but giving up was not a choice. We started researching all night and with the providence of a dear God in whom we firmly believe, we find Stella. After a phone conversation, we make an appointment with Stella who gave us guidelines on what to do and what tests we need to do. She gave us hope and led us into a battle that she knows how to lead. We immediately introduced a gluten-free, casein and soy diet and with a few supplements, our son is experiencing a big change. After a few simple tests and results, Stella explained our inner state Our son and how to fix it. It’s been 5 months since our first meeting with Stella. Our child has progressed indescribably in all areas. Speech has reached a level almost like his peers, he doesn’t stop talking, asks questions, retells stories, plays with children, is present, more concentrated, eye contact is very advanced, interacts with the environment, responds to his name, writes and can read most letters, draws, sleeps call night, eating is no longer a problem, he goes to the toilet on his own, rides a balance bike. These five months have not been easy, we have encountered many obstacles that we have overcome with our love, perseverance, Stella’s knowledge and guidance. We are aware that we still have a lot of work but we believe that we are on the right path with Stella. Not so long ago I was a desperate mother whose whole world collapsed. I did not accept that nothing can be done, I believed and I hoped. Today I am happy again with my family, we look forward to every move, we look forward to what tomorrow brings …. Thanks to Stella and her entire team.
Stella Chadwick has been amazing, she has gone out of her way to help our son, above and beyond expectations, we are so grateful for her services, and can’t wait to see her again xxx

Stella is a highly educated, professional and knowledgable functional medicine practitioner. 3 years ago we were desperate to help my son and her name was the name I heard from almost everyone i have asked for help. She knows her stuff really well and above all is a mother and feels what it is like when you have an unwell child and hence goes the extra mile to help. She always answered all enquiries promptly, very caring, always worked within our budget and tailors everything to the patients budget. She saved my sons life and will always ever remember her great work with him.

I can’t recommend Stella highly enough. She helped me on my journey with my twins and they are now thriving. Stella helped us to get the right tests done, to analyse exactly what they needed and to set us on the right path for recovery. I’ll always be thankful to her and I highly recommend her and her team.

So I’m not quite sure where to start as I have a lot to say but I don’t want to bore anyone.. so I’ll start from diagnosis and see where I get to. My son was first diagnosed with autism just before his second Birthday in July 2015. From the second he was diagnosed I considered autism to be a medical condition, because how could it not be, with all of the underlying issues. We were dealing with constipation and depression to name but a few. So I started my research by reading anything and everything autism related. Eventually I stumbled across the ATEC evaluation checklist. Ethan’s baseline ATEC was 89 (bordering on severe autism) From there we tried dietary changes and went gluten and dairy free which overnight made a huge difference. We had a child that no longer cried 90% of the day, it was closer to 40% so a lot more manageable and first proof that treating my son’s underlying conditions could resolve his autism. I faffed about a lot trying random supplements that I read about and finally in May 2017 after attending an SPD workshop I found Stella and Brainstorm Health. Well basically my story starts and ends right there because less than two years later and since following Stella’s protocols to a tee, we are down to an ATEC score of 21. How do I know that it’s not just that my son has ‘grown out of it’? Because the strides forward were huge and always right after starting an intervention- sometimes just 24 hours afterwards, such was the case when we addressed his anaemia, boosted his immune system and addressed heavy metals. I can’t put into words how grateful I am to Stella, without her my son would absolutely most definitely not be where he is today and who knows what state my own mental health would be in. My son is in mainstream education and thriving. If i could put one message out there to anyone in my position it would be to never accept autism and never give up because it is treatable once the root causes are identified. Thank you so much Stella! 🥰
I cannot recommend Stella highly enough! Where to start?……
Stella came highly recommended on a Facebook group which I found whilst searching for some answers and help for my 15 year old daughter.
My daughter developed fine as a smaller child and I had no concerns whatsoever. She was confident, talkative and sassy! I was a senior SEN Lecturer so I am sure I would have known if my own daughter had any SEN. She was ill a lot though, always getting ear infections and tonsillitis. As a result, she took many courses of antibiotics from the ages of 2 months old up to age 9 when she had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.
Not long after this operation she started to develop some difficulties which came one by one – joint pain, balance and coordination issues, visual stress and visual snow, anxiety which increased and increased, depression, dizziness, severe headaches, pins and needles, misophonia, sensory processing issues, selective mutism, then, kind of out of the blue, I noticed autistic traits. Over the course of 2-3 years she was diagnosed with Dyspraxia, Irlen’s Syndrome, ASD, severe anxiety and selective mutism.
In the end she had to leave mainstream school and attended a medical PRU for a while and is now in a special school.
In all my researching I started reading about the gut brain connection, PANS and PANDAS, how vitamin and mineral deficiencies can effect cognitive behaviour and mental health and immune mediated reasons for neurobehavioural issues etc and really started to feel the functional medicine approach could help.
From the first appointment I knew I had made the right decision in using Stella. As a mother herself she has been through similar with her daughter and that really comes across in her caring nature and empathetic approach. I can actually ‘feel’ her understanding and empathy through the zoom call.
She is realistic and works with parents and the child as to what they can manage as a family in terms of how to supplement, budget and diet. She is ridiculously knowledgeable and after every review I feel we are a step closer to getting my daughter better.
In the 6 or so months we have been working with Stella my daughter has made such progress! Her depression has completely gone, anxiety significantly reduced, she hardly notices the visual snow anymore, she has developed in confidence and now wants friends and wants to socialise, the selective mutism has disappeared and she can be out and about in social situations for so much longer and needs much less downtime afterwards. She only get the odd headache now and the sensory issues have reduced too……most of all she is happy again and it is a total delight to see!
I cannot thank Stella enough!
We are now starting to use another professional (as recommended by Stella) at Brainstorm Health for my other daughter for chronic long term migraine and PCOS.
Just wanted to say thank you for this afternoon’s approach with my daughter Jasmine. I know I sounded quite weird yesterday when I mentioned the ”mentoring” approach mainly because I was not quite sure how to word my suggestion. You did an absolutely brilliant job at easing her into the appointment, letting her drive through and considering taking ownership of her healing journey. She is a clever girl and the way you explained how her body works, what could have gone wrong and how it can be fixed made so much sense. I feel so positive about this, I really wish the mainstream health system would look into different approaches, life for many would be so much better. I am so glad we had this appointment, I am very much looking forward to experiencing how things are changing for Jasmine.
My name is Laineth Montes. My initial worry and the reason I contacted Coriander was my 5 year old son Mathis’s sleeping issues. Until 18 months ago Mathis had never had a deep or restorative sleep; he always woke up in the middle of the night crying for up to 20 minutes and would then drop back to sleep again like nothing had happened.
Bit by bit, Mathis also developed skin issues (eczema and extremely dry skin) – so much so that one could see it from far away – and all this was accompanied by a delay in his speech. It was then that a friend recommended Coriander to me and explained a little about what she did, so I decided to start a protocol with her.
To begin with the results were a little slow, but I started to see small improvements in Mathis. When we got the test results back and started to work on them was when I really started to see major changes in Mathis: his sleep improved – although he was a little more energetic before bed because of the supplements – his sleep is far calmer and he now sleeps all night without waking. In addition to this, his skin has improved enormously and he no longer has eczema or dry skin.
Mathis is now a child with good attention and his speech has also started to become more fluent bit by bit (although he is not at peer level yet). But the changes in diet and the correct supplements helped my son’s speech develop. Mathis is continuing to eat correctly and also has speech therapy.
Thank you so much Coriander for all your help. (this has been translated from Spanish)
Stella is an extremely knowledgable professional who has successfully helped my daughter over many years with her complex health issues. I would always recommend her and I really don’t know what we would have done without her. Stella really cares about her patients and treats them as individuals.

I have found Stella and her team at Brainstorm Health to be very professional and knowledgeable and stella is one of the most compassionate, kind and caring practitioners I have ever met. Her depth of knowledge is outstanding and with her support my non verbal child is now chattier than most kids his age and is in a mainstream school and thriving. I cannot thank her enough. She has changed our lives.

We have had some HUGE breakthroughs with Tom in the past 2 weeks. He no longer freaks out at certain smells (fresh fruits, for example) and has been willing to try some new foods for the first time in 6 years (shrimp, whitebait, asparagus soup, strawberries, rice, lettuce, fresh herbs, over the past week to name a few)…. He is also eating much larger quantities and enjoying his food much more. We were blown away when he gobbled up a huge cheeseburger on the first day of the holiday, plus a bowl of chips (he doesn’t usually touch potatoes) then asked for the same again. He then told us that his tummy always used to hurt after a few bites of food and now it doesn’t any more. Suddenly he seems more even-tempered and grown-up and his confidence has been boosted. Shortly before the end of the term he suddenly announced that he felt “100% smarter” and then got a couple of rewards for good work for the first time 2 days later. From a motor skill perspective, he skied as well as his 2 older sisters and earned the same 2-star award in the French national ski grading system which was an amazing achievement from a child who once had a diagnosis of dyspraxia.
Then to top it off, we kicked-off going dairy-free this morning and he happily swapped cow’s milk for rice milk on his cereal (choosing from a line of different milk alternatives) having very angrily rejected rice milk just a few weeks ago. So we’re off to an amazing start. Better than I could ever expect could be possible.
I can’t thank you enough. It’s nothing short of a miracle and for the first time it feels like anything is possible.
Stella is an incredibly competent, educated and compassionate professional. She is someone that truly cares about the wellbeing of the child as well as the family she is working with. We had many issues with my eldest son and she was available to take calls outside hours and give so much invaluable advice. Thank you.

I strongly recommend Stella . I have consulted with many doctors about my son and can recommend Stella as the best. My son is better because of her and I will always be grateful that our paths have crossed. The autism journey is a long and difficult one and you can easily lose hope and give up. Stella really listens and understands what you are going through with your child and helps you find the way to recovery.

Stella at Brainstorm health has been amazing. my son had food intolerances and other issues that had not been looked at by our Dr. she investigated these, recommended food and nutritional plan and he is a much happier child, more engaging and able to sleep better and many more positive things. She has amazing knowledge- works with me so I have learned how to help my son. She has a great approach. 👌 thank you Stella

I can say with confidence that working with Stella Chadwick has changed my family’s life.
It has become about so much more than ‘recovering’ my son from his symptoms, although Stella’s work in this area has been vital. When we met 8 months a go my 2.5 year old had no more than 20 words; exhibited stereotypical behaviours and insisted on ‘sameness’ in almost every area of his life- he only wanted to read one book, wear one pair of shoes and always wanted to complete his puzzles in the very same order.
Stella ordered some simple tests and the answers to our questions kept coming- once we had a clear picture of our little man’s ‘terrain’ we began, slowly but surely, righting the wrongs. I would be lying if I said it has been easy, but all of the hard work has been wholly worth it. We made some fairly drastic diet changes going organic wherever possible and added essential minerals, vitamins and probiotics to the mix. With Stella’s expertise, we have also been able to treat a significant yeast overgrowth and this has had profound effects. Our gorgeous boy now speaks in sentences, rarely ‘stims’ and is generally super happy and super healthy. He is a complete joy to be around and, while we still have work to do, we are excited about his future as any parent should be!
Throughout our journey, Stella has been only an email or wattsapp message away and on some occasions, I have been in daily contact with her.
Overall, Stella has given me the confidence to follow my gut (excuse the pun!) when it comes to my child’s happiness, health and well-being. She has educated me about so much and I feel confident that everything I put into my children’s bodies now is good for them and keeps them healthy. From one parent to another, don’t be scared of the hard work or the journey- Stella will help you to find your answers.
My experience with Brainstorm health was exceptional. I found the consultants extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have genuinely nothing but praise for this organization and I would have no hesitation recommending them. Probably the best at what they do in the UK.

Hundreds of children are truly blessed to have Stella Chadwick as their practitioner. Her professionalism, knowledge, credentials are of the highest standard… but the warmth, care and loyalty she provides every child and their families is outstanding and stands out amongst other professionals across the UK. She has single handedly transformed lives and is a lifeline to so many of us. Speech, toileting, eye contact, social skills … children are gaining skills which are a human right and Stella is the bright light shining down on us all, we could not do this without you. Thank you Stella for everything 💗🙏🏽

When we researched into finding a measured route into healing our child’s gut and other possible imbalances, we found Brainstorm Health Clinic.
We were pleased to have Coriander and from our first session, we could immediately tell Coriander was highly qualified and explained our forthcoming plan in a meticulous manner.
She is approachable and friendly along with continuous support. We would highly recommend Coriander and her services to anyone who wishes to heal the gut, mitochondria and parasites issues. In our case our son’s understanding has improved and his speech is also improving daily, and he is using sentences. Still very carefully put them together (like he thinks about the words) but it’s happening!
We are so thankful we came across Brainstorm Health as it has given our son a chance to be healthy. Our son was born healthy but he started to have ear infections, severe infected eczema and projectile vomiting in the first few months. This turned out to be a delayed dairy allergy, even though it didn’t show up in blood test. Dairy was slowly reintroduced at 10 months following the advice of an NHS dietitian. It seemed he was OK as there was no visible reaction, but on his first birthday he got ill with a virus. He started to wheeze and struggled to breathe. The hospital admission that followed was the first of 40, with around 30 being life threatening.
He was seen by a local specialist and referred to a specialist respiratory hospital in the UK. The doctors couldn’t get to the root of the issue and tried to deal with the symptoms by giving him reflux medication and thickening his liquid as he also suffered with dysphagia. We were told to give it time and that he would outgrow it by age 5, even though it was very likely he will develop asthma as he grew older due to the damage his lungs sustained from the infections.
We had noticed at around 20 months that he was losing words and his attention was non-existent. We felt he was making progress at times, but then he would be admitted into hospital for viral induced wheezes, would receive big dosages of antibiotics and steroids and he would be back to square one and would regress after each admission. Due to his loss of language and social skills he was referred to the child development team and is currently being investigated for autism.
I am glad to say that his last hospital admission was one week before we saw Coriander. We saw Coriander in December 2019 just after my son turned 4. She is an understanding, professional and thorough Practitioner. In the first 10 minutes of my conversation with Coriander she understood and explained the ‘why’ behind my son’s constant illnesses and his frequent ear infections, chest infections and pneumonia.
He has so far had 2 viruses since we spoke to Coriander and he has responded “normally” each time. Whereas before a simple runny nose would put him in hospital, these times he required no inhalers, no antibiotics, no steroids, no reflux medication or fluid thickeners. He has struggled with these problems for over 3 years and it has resolved within 2 months by following the Health plan set out by Coriander. This happened because Brainstorm Health and its practitioners look at the overall health of the child, not just a small section of it. We are so pleased and tell our story to family, friends and everyone we meet.
In the 2 months we have been under the care of Coriander we have seen massive improvement in our son’s behaviour. It’s still early days but his hyperactivity has drastically calmed down. He is more alert, he says some words now and even said one sentence “I want Peppa”. His receptive language has improved, and his vocal stimming has reduced.
We carried out some testing under Brainstorm Health and we are now working on the plan to address the yeast overgrowth and candida and have taken out the foods we found that he can’t tolerate. We are looking forward to the future now and are as optimistic as always.

Just wanted to quickly update you. Talhah had his first ever conversation with me today! I was leaving his room and I had some guests over so I said ‘alright I’m going to go now’ and he looked at me and said ‘going home’ (he meant the guests going home) and I said no there staying right now then he said ‘eating food’ and I said yes that’s right there eating you stay here and play with toys ok and he said ‘ok mama’. He’s never conversed with me before only what he wants and needs and shared things with couple of words and that’s it no speaking.

Life for the last 5.5 years had been difficult if I should say. My daughter Ama was diagnosed with autism at 3.5 years and for the family it was a difficult thing to accept. From the doctor’s office we came home not knowing what to do with her, we struggled with her over everything from eating, sleeping, going out of the house, in school, the list goes on and on.
She was pale, bloated stomach, anaemia, inability to focus and sit for a few minutes, tantrums could last for a whole day.
One of her teachers told us Ama spent half of the term sitting on the swing outside the classroom when she first started school because that was the only way to calm her down.
Then one day, a kind woman from the School approach me and introduce me to Stella. When we met Stella, she immediately made changes to her diet and gave us supplements. Within a month, my daughter could finally look me in the eyes, smile and play with me, she could now stand still and take a photo which was impossible before.
It has been a few months and I can honestly say we have a different child. Her academic has really improved, she has already met her target for a year before Christmas.
we never thought we could ever have our child back but Stella has given us hope and we are excited to see what await us as a family in the next coming months. Now we believe recovery is possible.
We will forever be grateful to Stella for all that she has done and continue to do
I went to see Stella when Ethan was nearly 5 years old. When Ethan was 3.5 years old, I was told he has autism. That term was too difficult for me to take in so I refused diagnosis… I was angry, but I was determined to address the issues that affected my sons health. I dug into researching till I stumbled on the word biomedical treatment of Autism.
I made an appointment with Stella and meanwhile put my son on Gluten free diet.
The diet initially started helping my son to be calm, I eliminated carbohydrates from his diet.
After Stella’s appointment, my son was started on anti-fungal and some other supplements. I also purchased the ioncleanse machine.
The antifungals worked quickly but my son had a die off that lasted more than 3 weeks… After the die off I had a different child. His receptive speech is almost at par with other kids, his expressive speech moved from 200 words to three to four words sentences, he is now fully toilet trained brushing his teeth, dressing himself. He was affectionate to us but invaded adults space or use him to his advantage, that has stopped now when his dad come home he will go to him to play with him, he received post for me now the other day a postman knocked the door he open greeted her, picked the parcel and told her goodbye, I could go on and on.
My son was very toxic, so the Ioncleanse machine has helped him to release those toxins from the body, I would be lost without it.
Today’s its only 3 months into the programme and we are on track, we still have some issues to address but we are very excited for the future
I have recommended Stella to so many parents who are already having fantastic results, Stella is not only knowledgeable, but she is also very empathetic, she walks the journey with you and I can’t thank her enough.
Stella is a very caring and in-depth practitioner. Before my son came to see Stella he was aggravated, unhappy and hyperactive and could only make a few sounds. Not only was Stella compassionate but also determined to help him. After a year of treatment my son is happy, calm, has very little pain and has only good days at school. Also, he has started to talk a few short sentences which to me is a miracle as no one a year ago would have believed this was possible. I cannot thank Stella enough. She is a wonderful practitioner, person and now a friend.
Stella is warm and caring. She is driven by the genuine desire of healing your child. She caters her approach to your individual child at a pace that you are comfortable with. She is always open to new approaches and thinks outside of the box.
My son is on the autistic spectrum. I first visited Stella almost a year ago. I remember my first meeting with her as I cried with being overwhelmed. She was the first person to give me hope. Over the past year my son has slowly, slowly been improving and making progress in ways I could have only dreamed of. He no longer suffers from reflux, constipation or night terrors. He sleeps the full night. He is healthy and happy. We still have a long way to go but we are enjoying the journey. Each and every day I am grateful that he has been unlocked from his world and is now enjoying life with us as a family.
As Muslims we believe there is a cure for everything. My journey with Stella is just that. I cannot thank her enough but only make a prayer for her for the wonderful heartfelt work she does out of genuine love and care.
I have a son with autism he is 7 years old. He was diagnosed when he was 3.5 years old. Everybody was telling me there was something not quite right with him, but I was the last to realise that he wasn’t just different but that there was something seriously not right. When I got his diagnosis I felt a strange feeling of relief that I knew that had to find out how to help him. Doctors said that I just have to accept it and live with it that there is nothing I can do about it. That was not an option. I started to GF /CF diet and I noticed that he started to noticed kids on the playground. Nobody around me knew anything about autism and did not know how to support me. So a very long struggle of therapies doctors and biomedical treatment followed. He did improve but very slowly for 3 years. I joined a facebook group for the Ioncleanse footbath and was constantly reading about how children with all kinds of problems improved tremendously from it. So I was determined to get one and try it not knowing if he was even going to keep his feet in it. When I received it I was overjoyed that he enjoyed the footbath. He changed immediately from it he was calmer and more focused it was like he was blocked until now with toxins and things finally started to flow.
I got in touch with Stella and asked her if my son could become a patient of hers and that is when the magic continued.
Stella is a wonderful person and I am so happy that I contacted her. My son is wonderful and after 1 year with Stella
I have a new boy and I know that eventually everything is going to be OK.

My name is Cosmin Rotarescu I am from Romania – Europe and I want to recommend Stella for her professionalism and warmth that we felt since our first date!
Our daughter Sarah is 4 years old and is diagnosed with autism. Until 3 months ago we had following serious problems :
– Slept only 2-3 hours per night the rest was crying and screaming until 7am.
– It was extremely constipated (go to bath only at 4-5 days) and when going to the bathroom had extreme pain! Because of this no longer wanted to go to the bathroom at all. We tried everything we could: medications, suppositories, oils, warm baths …. and nothing works!
– Very hectic throughout the day.
– It was not aware of what is happening around her
– Sleeps up to 7am without any problems! Wakes up once and ask for milk or water.
– Has no longer any pain or fear and go to the bathroom ALONE!
– It is much more playful and happy
– It is more present to what is happening around HER
I mention that we did EXACTLY what Stella told us to do and we have not deviated at all from the program no matter how hard was.
Stella is warm, sincere, kind and very good professional. You can feel that she loves what she does and comes across really genuine. We are so grateful we found Stella!

Our 6 year old daughter was born a happy healthy child and reached all her milestones until she was 14 months old. Not once did the word autism cross our minds until then. At 14 months she changed dramatically and by 16 months we just seemed to have lost her. She would not look at us, didn’t seem to care if we were there and she stopped responding to her name. Ever since we have tried lots of therapies and all of them gave her some gains, but nothing significant. It was only when we went to see Stella that we started to connect so many of the dots. Stella was amazing. She explained everything to us and it felt like she knew our daughter inside out. She recommended some tests which we did and the answers kept coming. Stella gave us a diet to follow along with some supplements and lots of things to do to help detoxification. We have been following Stella’s plan for 5 months and we are thrilled with the progress we are witnessing. 1 month into the plan my daughter grabbed my face gave me a big kiss and said “I love you mummy”. This was the first deep and personal connection she made with me since 16 months of age. She is sleeping better, she is learning and concentrating and she is so much happier as well as more alert and the language is becoming more complex almost daily. Thank you Stella from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done for us. I have recommended Stella to lots of families and I can’t sing her praises highly enough. She is sincere, caring, kind and immensely knowledgeable and has been there for us every step of the way.
We were recommended to see Stella by a friend, our son is 7 and has autism, we have seen various practitioners in the past but never seen any real progress. We decided to see Stella. She gave us a comprehensive plan to follow, we added supplements slowly and increased my sons diet by adding more foods, after only 3 months my sons speech has really improved, he is more aware and has made brilliant progress at school. My son also had on going issues with constipation, that have now been resolved, We still have a long way to go but he is doing really well.
We can’t thank Stella enough and look forward to more gains in the future.

We are the French lucky parents of a six – year old boy who presents with allergies- related autistic condition, speech delay and a serious gut inflammation and disorder. Lucky from the day we contacted Stella and explained to her how helpless we felt for we could not have any appropriate answers and treatment from the various French Specialists we have visited so far. After starting to embark on a Gaps diet, which healing benefits on guts and brain we read on internet, we then searched through a list of GPs in England and we came across Stella Chadwick ‘s professional track in Naet, Gaps and expertise in autistic Spectrum conditions.
Stella knows her stuff and immediately pointed out the causes of such an inflammation through the blood results we had emailed her. We then felt in good hands for the first time during this six- year long struggling. Stella has made it doable for us to implement the diet and within a couple of weeks we were witnessing amazing progress and thriving in our son. From being wordless he started to be talkative- like and saying words! He now shows real interest in initiating games and Human sciences too! This is probably a Long- term recovery but we are seeing the light at last!! We would like to Thank you Stella for being available and supportive, you also invested much time in helping us find a good French Naet practitioner here in Paris, we are currently teamworking as a wonderful crew towards our son’s recovery!

Stella is such a warm person but also professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She is passionate about her treatment and I’m not surprised. My daughter’s learning difficulties, as she got older, manifested themselves in different ways and normal social interaction was becoming increasingly difficult. This led to Jo becoming depressed, despondent and I was really worried and had even considered anti depressants. Fortunately I met Stella at this low point and within 2 weeks we turned a corner. Jo became brighter, her spark was back and over the last three months I have seen improvements everyday.

I have really enjoyed going to see Stella, she is a very lovely and caring lady. The diet she has put me on has helped me loads. I feel like a different person, my confidence has gone up loads.
– J. W. Buckinghamshire
I can’t speak highly enough of Stella and how lovely she is. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty for our family and for my 16 year old daughter who has suffered from depression for a number of years. My daughter has been to psychologists, psychiatrists and other behavioural therapists on and off for 4 years with little change in her mood. She has been accused of making things up to get attention and other things which have been hurtful and unhelpful. Stella did some laboratory tests and changed my daughters diet according to the results, and added in a few supplements. My daughter is much happier and has started putting on some weight after being very underweight for a number of years and her menstrual cycle has become normal after many on/off and disrupted cycles. I would not hesitate in recommending Stella and can’t thank her enough for all that she has done for us.

Our son was diagnosed with autism aged 3.5 and he is now 5.5. We wanted to follow the GAPS diet and talked to a number of practitioners before choosing Stella. She is instantly likeable and incredibly knowledgeable. You can feel that she loves what she does and comes across really genuine. We explained that the diet was a bit overwhelming and she drew up a plan for us, which made the whole thing really easy to follow. She made everything seem achievable. I don’t think we would have been able to do the diet otherwise. She was at the end of the phone whenever we needed her and answered all our questions. We also received a thorough report from her with full instructions of how to follow things as well as lots of recipes and resources. Our son has made lovely progress. We have been following the GAPS diet for 2 months and we can already notice big changes. He is more aware of us and much more affectionate. He has learnt new words and can put very simple sentences together. He doesn’t have anywhere near the number of tantrums he used to have and he is generally a happy boy. I am so excited about what changes we can expect in the future. Stella is brilliant and I would highly recommend her.

My 10 year old daughter has been seeing Stella for both Nutritional help and for NAET. My daughter has always had a lot of social anxiety and has found friendships difficult to maintain. She does not have an official diagnosis but we always suspected that she could be on the autism spectrum. I Liked Stella immediately. She is honest, passionate about what she does and really knows her stuff. We have made some changes to my daughters diet and Stella has worked with us making everything seem easy to implement. My daughter has also been doing weekly NAET sessions with Stella for the past 6 weeks. The changes in my daughter have been quite amazing. She says that she is happier than she can ever remember and feels as if she has “just landed on earth and seeing things for the first time”. She was recently invited to a party by one of the girls in her class which may not be a big deal to some people but this is the first party invitation she has ever had from school.

After Christmas 2014 our little boy Marcus who has autism and had always suffered with gut related issues suddenly went downhill. He was in constant pain and his mental health deteriorated too. He lost much of his already meagre language. He was already gluten and dairy free and Doctors were struggling to help us. Another professional working with Marcus at the time suggested we contact Stella at Brainstorm Health, and there began our journey to where we are now. Marcus has made massive progress from following the biomedical plan of diet and supplements carefully designed by Stella.
There were many changes to make and at first it felt quite daunting, but I adopted the mantra ‘Softly Catchy Monkey’ because our little monkey needed time! Changing his diet has been a challenge but now he has a wealth of foods he enjoys, and we are committed to his future as in just a few short months we have seen such a dramatic change. Not only is he pain free but his language has improved beyond anything we could have imagined at this point. I didn’t think I would ever hear my little boy ask ‘Why, Mummy?’….’
Thanks to Stella we know where we are heading and are able to be optimistic about Marcus’s future. We’ll be sticking with Brainstorm Health. We know this is just the beginning…

We contacted Brainstorm Health for advice concerning our daughter who has a rare Chromosome Disorder and global developmental delays. We hoped to improve her diet to help with her general development as well as her chronic constipation and eczema. Following our first appointment we received a detailed health plan with lots of suggestions, including eliminating eggs and adding in various foods and supplements. It took two months to gradually make all of the suggested changes, but it was achievable and we are thrilled at the results. Her constipation has now gone, the eczema has improved so that we were no longer needing steroid cream and she is making great strides forward in her general development.
The best decision we ever made for our son was to take him to Stella at Brainstorm Health. We liked her from the time we met her and felt really confident after our first meeting. My husband and I were really impressed with her knowledge and her understanding of our son’s issues, which was immediate. We showed her some of the tests we had already done and she picked up things that no one had picked up before. The last 12 months have been incredible. Our son is calm, and is eating a wide range foods which we could not have imagined he would eat. The biggest change has been in his language which has gone from single words to having a proper conversation and not just about things he is interested in 🙂 Stella is fabulous and we can’t thank her enough for all that she has done for our son. I have recommended Stella to lots of people and the feedback has consistently been that she is fantastic.

We were recommended to see Stella at Brainstorm Health by another therapist and this is where so much changed for our son Ryan aged 14 who has autism. Over the years, we have done all the things many families I know have done with the diet and supplements. we have been GFCF for nearly 10 years. Ryan’s horrible and erratic bowel movements and severely disrupted sleep greatly improved with the diet but we always felt that we were missing something. Stella is one of the most dedicated and professional practitioners we have ever come across. She was amazing with Ryan, and so reassuring. At the end of our first session we had a plan in action. She recommended tests for pyroluria and lyme disease and some other infections we had never even heard of. We had never considered these before and the results were a revelation. It explained so much about Ryan’s immune system, his low muscle tone, his erratic and explosive aggression, the ghostly look and so much more. We were shocked and excited at the same time. We started with lots of detoxification and then slowly added in other things for the pyroluria and then viral and bacterial problems and layered things in over time. The change in Ryan has been phenomenal. After 13 months we have a different son. He is loving and affectionate and looks amazing and best of all he has started to put on weight. He is so much calmer and recently he has found a passion for the theatre and has joined a local drama group – it is hard to explain how impossible this would have been this time last year. It is also hard to remember how bad things were before. I have video reminders that really make the hair stand up on my arms. I am so grateful we found Stella. Her dedication to Ryan and to us as a family has been beyond anything we could have hoped for. She is tireless and so wonderfully positive and I have no idea how she keeps all that information in her head! we would recommend Stella without hesitation.
